Data Deletion Request

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This page explains, step by step, how to request deletion of personal data you have shared with KAiMAK Hair Studio via Instagram or other channels. For general privacy practices, see the Privacy Policy.

1. What This Page Covers

When you message KAiMAK Hair Studio's Instagram professional account or use our contact channels, some personal data is processed. This page describes how to request deletion of that data.

2. What Data Is Deleted

  • Instagram Direct message content and conversation history.
  • Contact data: name, username, phone, e-mail.
  • Appointment and support request records.
  • Reply drafts prepared for you.
  • Related technical/security logs (except where legal retention applies).

3. How to Request Deletion

  1. E-mail: Send a message to [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request", stating your Instagram username and your request clearly.
  2. WhatsApp: You may also write to +90 532 290 94 24.

4. Identity Verification

To protect account ownership, we may ask you to send the request from the same Instagram account/channel or to provide reasonable additional verification.

5. Timeline and Confirmation

Valid requests are assessed within 30 days at the latest, in line with KVKK Article 13/2. The outcome is communicated to you through the same e-mail or channel used for the request.

6. Legal Retention Exception

Under Turkish Tax Procedure Law and KVKK Article 28, certain records (for example invoicing-related documents) may be retained for the legally required period. In that case we will explain what is retained and why; that data is deleted or anonymised once the retention period ends.

7. Your Own Copy on Instagram/Meta

The copy of Instagram Direct messages in your own account is not under our control. To view, download or delete data in your own Instagram account, use Meta's own tools (Accounts Center / Instagram Settings) or the official guidance at help.instagram.com.

8. Right to Complain

If you believe your request was not handled properly or on time, you may apply to Turkey's Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
